Career

Buck Angel started working in the adult field making fetish videos and creating male-to-female websites. After a few years he noticed there were no websites focused on producing exclusivly female-to-male content. While there were a few websites that had images or clips of female-to-male porn, there were no "mainstream" outlets for those who wanted to create or watch FTM videos. Buck realized that he could capitalize on this gap in the industry. He began making his own content in 2003, becoming the first trans man to produce his own FtM website. In 2007 Angel won Transexual Performer of the Year, and was the first FtM do win that award.

Further Work

Buck has toured the world promoting his films, as well as being honored at film festivals in Berlin and London. In 2012, Buck was made a director on the board of the Woodhall Sexual Freedom Alliance. He is an advocate for trans health and frequently speaks about the effects of hormones on men transitioning from female. In 2013 the documentary, Mr. Angel was released. It was filmed during a period of four years. Buck continues to lecture at places like Yale and IdeaCity, where he speaks about gender politics, identity and the benefits of gratitude and self-love.
