According to an AVN profile, these words by Oscar Wilde are Ivy Wolfe's motto. In a career that kicked off in 2017, Ivy Wolfe has already managed to represent a wonderful array of delightful sins: family roleplay (Pure Taboo's (Uncle Fucker), creampie (Internal Love 4) BDSM (Hotwife Bound 4) and many more.
She worked in a Portland, Oregon, sandwich shop before breaking into porn thanks to the suggestion of her roommate, who was also an adult performer. Wolfe's first scene was a threesome, one that she still describes as the best she's ever had.
2018 was a key year for Wolfe, as she was named a Twistys Treat (September), Penthouse Pet (October), Girlsway Girl of the Month (December), and Vixen Angel (December) in rapid succession. She also had a key role in one of the year's biggest movies, Vixen's After Dark. Her status as one of porn's newest "it girls" was confirmed when she snagged the 2019 AVN for Best New Starlet.
Wolfe makes no bones about her lofty ambitions as a star, as she told AVN in 2017: "Ivy is here to break the goddam fuckin' mold by being a fiercely intelligent woman in the adult industry who is not afraid to vocalize the things that other people are afraid to. At the end of the day, I love it. I love being a sex worker."
In March 2019, Wolfe announced a temporary hiatus from shooting, citing concerns about her mental health. "I wanna say thank you to every to every person who understands and respects my decision. Who supports me and truly understands my situation, me, and my decision," she said. She noted that the hiatus was expected to be around six months.
November 2019 saw her announce, via a series of tweets, her newly enhanced bust.
By summer 2021, Wolfe announced her comeback to adult entertainment. "I always figured I may come back eventually, I wanted to keep growing my name, and come back to an industry that had expanded and helped me rip chains of shame off of me so well. I missed it. I missed everything about it. And once I was mentally and physically healthy again, there's nothing that could keep me away," she told Adult Empire.
