Interview With Fallon Sommers - June 5, 2004
Los Angeles, CA
PornstarEmpire.com: Now why are we all getting here smashed on the fourteenth floor of a hotel in Woodland Hills?
Fallon Sommers: We are all here, getting smashed, signing posters for the Surfer Girls movie. I wasn't actually in Hawaii. I was back here fucking one of the surfer girl's boyfriends. I believe it was Teagan's boyfriend. He was jealous so he came and fucked me.
Q: How did you get into the adult film industry?
Fallon Sommers: I got into the adult film industry a week after I turned eighteen. I was looking through the paper, and I saw an ad for World Modeling. I went into Jim South's office, and I didn't know it was porn. I thought it was figure modeling...I had no idea it was actual fucking hardcore porn. So I went in there and the money signs are all in my face. I had never made that kind of money in my entire life. So I lost my virginity shortly before I got into porn, and now I am done with porn. I am done with boy/girl and girl/girl as of this past month.
Q: So you are out of the industry?
Fallon Sommers: Yeah, I'll do solo and masturbation. But there's not a lot of demand for boy/girl and girl/girl.
Q: Why are you getting out?
Fallon Sommers: I look at it [porn] as a good experience. I'm done with it. I'm just done with it because of the little [HIV] scare.
Q: As someone who is getting out, what is your opinion of the whole HIV mess?
Fallon Sommers: I don't think it's worth it. I think porn should be condom-only. Why not condom-only, right? I think anal has a lot to do with this whole thing. I think girls should know the higher risks of contracting HIV through anal. Girls don't know that.
Q: What are you going to do?
Fallon Sommers: I just got a job waitressing in Porter Ranch.
Q: We'll come and visit.
Fallon Sommers: Okay, I'll get you a free side of fries.
Q: Other than waitressing, what do you want to do?
Fallon Sommers: I want to be a psychologist and maybe work with people in the adult industry. They need, I need it, we all need it. Every one of us in this room probably need it.
Q: Where do you want to be in ten years?
Fallon Sommers: Ten years from now I want to be a Mommy... I'm not sure. I'm only nineteen.
Q: Are you bothered at all by what you've done?
Fallon Sommers: No, not at all. I don't look at it like it's a bad experience. I look at it like a good experience! That if I had to go back I would do it over.
Q: What's your advice to other young girls getting into this business?
Fallon Sommers: Be sure you can handle what can happen to you. It's very overwhelming. I've seen a lot of girls have breakdowns and just not be able to handle a situation.
