Pornstarempire.com: Where are you from?
Nakita: Minnesota.
Q: How did you get started in adult?
Nakita: Michael Raven and Sydnee Steele got me into doing movies. I was a dancer in Minneapolis when I met a feature entertainer and she got me started going on the road. I actually met Michael Raven on the road.
Q: How did you start dancing?
Nakita: I met a guy who was a male stripper who was co-owner of a bachelor party company and he had me do a couple gigs as soon as I turned 18 for his...company and he didn't think it was for me. So I met a DJ in a strip club and he brought me in...and I did an amateur contest one night and won.
Q: Didn't it strike you a little strange, I mean especially growing up in Minnesota--didn't dancing strike you as a strange job?
Nakita: Not really, believe it or not, I was a military police officer at the time. ...It was a very extreme thing for me to do so, when the stripping thing came up that was even more extreme, and I just went for it.
Q: Was it something that maybe you fantasized about doing before you got into it?
Nakita: Oh, definitely. In fact I had girlfriends that I went to high school with that basically said that once they turned 18, they were going to do the amateur contest and they were like a year or two older than me. They never did it and so I was determined, since they chickened out--I was going to do it.
Q: But did you fantasize about doing porn at that point?
Nakita: Absolutely not. In fact, when Michael Raven had brought it to my attention, you know, "I am doing a movie--do you want to check it out...?"
Q: Where were you when you ran into them?
Nakita: El Paso, Texas and they [(Sydnee Steele and Michael Raven)] lived in Dallas, Texas at the time.
Q: Are they both from Texas?
Nakita: Yeah, I believe. So Michael Raven had asked me to come out for the first movie that he shot and I think his plans were to talk me into doing the movie. So I came out, expecting to spend some time with him, because I started to date him and Sydnee.
Q: What? You started to date them both?
Nakita: Yeah, I actually lived with them for four months and I with them and everything. It was great, it was a good time. So I actually went out to Dallas, not expecting...not really wanting to be in the movie. I just wanted to spend some time with them and...there was an open spot in one of his scenes and he asked me if I wanted to do and I really struggled with myself. I was really, really turned on by the sex. I thought it was really erotic and it made me want to have sex by watching it, because I was on set almost the whole movie. But I just kind of felt being directed and having sex was kind of something I didn't feel comfortable with. I had no problem with a bunch of people watching, and cameras being in my face was no big deal to me, but being really choreographed was something that didn't turn me on. So I said no.... About six months later, I was with Sydnee and Michael Raven and at their house. There was a man that was going to be shooting some very small scenes for a very low budget production and Sydnee obliged--he was staying at the house, so she said, "Sure, I'll shoot a scene for you," and then he asked me. ...I had had sex with her several times, so it was very comfortable for me. I said, "Yeah, I'll try it," because there wasn't 20 people in the room telling you what to do and the only person telling me what to do was her.
Q: It was more informal?
Nakita: Extremely informal. I felt very comfortable because she was guiding me, telling me to do this and do that. I felt comfortable doing that because she is my friend and she's told me to do things a million times.
Q: Has this been released?
Nakita: Yeah. ...I have no idea what the movie is. I did a solo scene also and I totally fell in love being in front of the camera, having sex--completely fell in love with it.
Q: Why, what happened?
Nakita: I just had so much fun doing my solo scene, not like really being an actress, but at the same time, playing it up for the camera and being an exhibitionist. That's one of the reasons why I love the stage. I mean, I have been a dancer since I was four years old and I love being on stage because I love being center of attention. So when I was doing my solo scene with this guy, I was hamming it up and definitely loving [it]....
Q: This wasn't the thing in the car, right [Real Female Masturbation]?
Nakita: No, that was...probably only four months later.
Q: What would you say is your favorite part of having sex on-screen?
Nakita: Until last week, I'd only done girl-girl scenes for almost four years. ...I am pretty intimidated by beautiful women. Men, I have no problem with because guys are guys. ...I have always been afraid of girls saying no. If I was to go up to a girl in a strip club and say, "You're beautiful--can I take you home with me?"--I could never do that. I was just afraid of rejection. The best part for doing movies for me...was the fact that I got to fuck beautiful chicks and I didn't have to feel--it was like a dating service, almost.
Q: Are actively bisexual anyway?
Nakita: Yes.
Q: What made you decide to do a scene with a man?
Nakita: Well, I had planned it from the start. I really didn't plan on me waiting four years to do a boy-girl scene. ...I was really hesitant of getting into the business from the start. I just didn't jump right in. After I did the first two scenes with Sydnee and the solo scene with the same man, I took it slow. And I knew some people through featuring in the industry and doing magazines shoots. ...I contacted...the people I met, like Jim Holliday. I sat down with him and had a long talk with him before I had done anything else...and...trusted him very much and I shot a few things with him. In fact, my first big thing that was not amateur was actually the second thing I did, was a live video shoot over the internet with Jill Kelly and Julie Rage. I didn't know who they were...so I went back to Michael Raven and said, who are these people and is this how much money I am supposed to be getting. He had enough knowledge to say this is who this is and...Jim Holliday [had] said the scene was booked with Jill Kelly and I misunderstood him, thinking he said, "Joe Kelly," so I'm asking everyone who Joe Kelly is! I didn't want to be blind going into the scene, not knowing who these people were and...[getting] mixed up with people I don't want to have sex with. It turned out great. That actual scene was released, Jill Kelly's First Time Ever....
Q: Does your family know what you do?
Nakita: Yes.
Q: How did that go?
Nakita: By the time I started doing movies, they were kind of warmed to it, because I have been in the industry since I was 18. They weren't really happy about the idea, but they just warmed up. I mean I have taken my career slow. ...I started stripping...for a while and a year and half later...I stared doing magazines and touring.... Every step has been gradual and when I appear in large magazines, I make sure I call and say, "Listen, I am going to be in this magazine and so-and-so might see it." ...At this point, nothing would surprise them and just as long as I am happy--they are happy.
Q: But was your background pretty conservative, growing up?
Nakita: Not hugely. My mother is extremely conservative--I call her "prissy". She never drank, never smoked or did anything in her life to be a bad person whatsoever and she has been with the same job for about 18 years--or same company, I should say. My parents are divorced, but both re-married. My mother leads a good Christian life, but doesn't judge me and loves me for who I am and is very happy to hear all the exciting things going on in my life. My father on the other hand, a father and daughter relationship...my father is one of the most intelligent people I know. Without me saying what is going on in my life, he just knows. He just knows.
Q: How often do you shoot a year?
Nakita: 20-30 movies a year. I really haven't kept track.
Q: So do you find that you get sick of sex or desensitized to sex?
Nakita: If I am shooting a lot back-to-back, of course, because I am having constant sex, even though my sex drive is pretty good. Sometimes doing scenes is...a lot more tiring then regular sex...just for positions that your body is in....it's just emotionally and physically draining. So if I am shooting back-to-back a lot then yeah, it does, but I make sure I would never get bored at what I am doing.
Q: Do you feel like your sex drive is just as high [as before]?
Nakita: Absolutely. In fact when I did my first boy-girl scene last week, I came home and had sex that night and had sex that next morning and that turned me on even more, so I think everything is still intact.
Q: Now that you have done both [genders on camera], would you say it is easier to shoot with a woman?
Nakita: I don't think so. ...I guess it just depends what man.... Evan Stone is the most amazing guy and he is very strong...and if you start to feel weak or start to fall short in energy or whatever, he picks it up and he is good, he is really good.
Q: Are going to continue to shoot with men now?
Nakita: Yes I am. I am not going to be doing another boy-girl movie till around the time Kash is going to be released.
Q: That is what this one is called with Evan?
Nakita: Yeah, Kash. So I am going to explore my options and see what comes my way and I want people in the industry to see how my movie and my scene has been reviewed and I want them to see how popular Kash is going to be and then hopefully, some good projects will come my way.
Q: Kash was for Michael Raven for Sin City?
Nakita: Yeah.
Q: What, sexually, do you feel you would like to explore on-screen that you haven't done yet?
Nakita: ...Usually when I do a girl-girl scene and most of my fans will agree with me...I am very dominant and I take things over, not really degrade women, but usually power over women and usually fuck the hell out of them. I really want...my fans seeing men fuck the shit out of me instead of me fucking the hell out of someone else. That is what is actually important to me right now. I need them to know that I am extremely versatile.
Q: Or vulnerable too?
Nakita: Yes.
Q: I wanted to ask you about dating relationships. How have they changed since you got into porn?
Nakita: Well when I started dancing I actually started dating that DJ who introduced me to the strip club. I was dating him and he didn't have a problem with it and I never saw once that he had a problem with it. Things just didn't work out with him, I just moved on to find somebody better. He was never a bad guy and he never treated me bad--you know, I moved on. My next boyfriend I had met actually at the club through the owners of the club he worked nearby and I said who is, this guy you have to introduce me. The only problem I had with him is, I am usually a pretty professional person and I have a good head on my shoulders and I don't do . (My only addiction is smoking cigarettes--it's a stripper thing, I guess.) I have a good head on my shoulders and I think that was one of the things that attracted him to me--which he also did, too--but every once in awhile he would make comments like, "that's a stripper thing" or "quit acting like a stripper"...and that warned me real quick.... It was every great once in awhile and it just made me stop and think that he doesn't respect me as much as I thought he did. As far as getting into this industry, I actually had a boyfriend when I got into doing movies and I've had the same boyfriend ever since. ...We have grown completely together and learned together what is comfortable and what is not and what is okay and what is not.
Q: Wow, so he can handle it?
Nakita: Oh yeah, actually he was yelling at me to do my first boy-girl scene two years ago like, what are you waiting for? We have a really open relationship. I mean we literally have sex with whomever we want.
Q: Oh, so he is allowed.
Nakita: Yeah, he is allowed to have sex with whomever he wants.
Q: Is he a porn actor?
Nakita: No, he owns Internet companies. But most people know him in the industry because we have been together for almost four years also. I don't really know how to explain it. I am just really confident in myself and I know that if he ever left me for another woman, it would just be because he would be happier and that's what he wants and that's what I believe [in also].... I believe we have the same outlook on it. We love each other very much and don't plan on leaving each other, ever, but we would like to learn from other people and enjoy other people.
Q: Are you still featuring?
Nakita: Yes. I have been featuring for...I don't even want to say how many years, several years. I was featuring before I started doing movies and one of the reasons why I started doing movies is simply because I was not making enough money on the road and I knew the porn girls did and boy, has it changed.
Q: ...I would like to hear who your favorite people you like to work with are I guess your not going to have that many men to say.
Nakita: Evan Stone.
Q: Chicks?
Nakita: Oh, girls--I really like working with Jill Kelly and working with Sydnee. I will be perfectly honest with you, my favorite girls to work with are girls I haven't worked with. I like experiencing new pussy. I mean at all times, I love corrupting and breaking in the new girls.
Q: Tell me some of your favorite shoots that you've done.
Nakita: ...This is bad because it's one scene that is with myself, but probably my favorite movie and my fans' favorite movie is the Real Female Masturbation Volume 1 I did with Randy West. That was a real long solo scene I did in the back of a Suburban.
Q: Yeah, I saw it. It was pretty crazy.
Nakita: It was a lot of fun and unfortunately that scene was with myself .... Oh, and Vivid's Cassidey and Blair Segal--this was before Cassidey was with Vivid--her name was actually Bobbie back then. We did a scene for A Girl's Affair #43 and that was a lot of fun. ...I did a fairy orgy for A Midsummer Night's Cream. It was actually just nominated for best all-girl all sex scene this last AVN Awards. I had a lot of fun with that one because I got to have sex with Amber Michaels.... I also did a really hot girl-girl scene [with] Jasmin St.Claire--Smells Like Fish; horrible title, but it was a fun scene for Extreme. I did a scene for New Sensations with the French Kate More and I was really super-excited about doing that because she is foreign and not that many people get foreign pussy.
Q: Do you think you'll end up staying in the industry? Are you interested in staying as far as producing or directing?
Nakita: I have no plans as of right now, but my dream is to have a strip club of my own.
Q: I hear that shit; I used to be a stripper and I saw a lot of things that I would do differently.
Nakita: I have a passion. I really, really want to do it and I will do it. It's just a matter of when. It will probably be when I am gone featuring, when I am done performing, when I am done doing personal appearances and I can sit down and focus.... I know several people that would help me out with my experience and with my knowledge being in a million different clubs.
Q: If you hadn't ended up in adult, what do you think you would have ended up doing?
Nakita: I would be a FBI Agent right now.
Q: No plans for that now?
Nakita: Hell no. There would be no way with my past that I would be able to succeed. It would be to much hanging over my head, people staring at me, people looking at me.... I would probably get booted out.
Q: Do you have a website?
Nakita: www.nakitakash.com .
Q: What do you think would surprise your fans or the general public the most?
Nakita: I was just asked this and I didn't know what the hell to say.
Q: Some people say, "I read books" or "I have a sewing machine," "I am a simple girl" or "I'm shy".
Nakita: I just unpacked my sewing machine last night, but that probably wouldn't surprise that many people. I mean come on, everyone has a little normality in their lives. I guess what people would never expect out of me--even though I am an extreme exhibitionist and always talking about screwing people--I am actually very reserved. I'm a voyeur and even though it seems like I am the first person to get naked at the party and...I did meet my boyfriend at a nudist colony.... I'm a real voyeur. I love to watch and I am very reserved. I usually sit back. I am a people-watcher. People usually have to come up to me.
