Herve Bodilis is a French actor, photographer, and director. He began his photography career in the mainstream entertainment sector, photographing people in show business. In 1986, Bodilis was approached by a porn star and asked to be the photographer for an erotic shoot. Bodilis agreed to do the job, a decision that would ultimately change his life. From that point on, Bodilis began shooting more and more erotic sets. It was about a decade later that he made his directorial debut, producing his first film for Hustler Video. A few more years later, in 1999, Bodilis stepped in front of the camera for the first time to make his acting debut in a XXX movie. He appeared in such movies as Private Gold 41: Madness parts 1-2 (Private), and non-sex roles in Doing Hard Time in Prison (High Octane), Boys of the Bastille (Paladin Video), and with the Enemy (Wicked Pictures).

Directorial Career

Bodilis went on to work in the adult film industry as a director and sometime actor, appearing in about 7 films as an actor, but directing more than 200 titles for various production companies. In 2000, Bodilis shot the film Alexandra for Marc Dorcel. Thus began a business arrangement between the two, making Bodilis the first director to have an exclusive contract with Marc Dorcel. Other notable films directed by Bodilis include Circle Of Deceit parts 1-2 (Hustler Video), Mademoiselle de Paris (Marc Dorcel Video), Rump Humpers 19 (Glitz Video), and Soccer Club (Raging Stallion).
