Zoey Monroe

Formerly a softball player, cheerleader, and gymnast, Zoey Monroe discovered that her greatest home run would come as a pornstar.

Monroe, a native of Detroit, Michigan, had her eye on a porn career from a surprisingly young age. As far back as middle school, she would joke with classmates about one day joining the adult industry. She also was quick to explore her sexuality. "I had fun in high school . . . and college," Zoey told Bang! in a video interview. Her early sex adventures included a threesome (just one month after she lost her virginity) and sex with an entire club of six foreign exchange students in college. "'Once you pop 'em, you can't stop 'em!'" Monroe has said in several interviews. After working as a stripper in Detroit, she joined the adult industry in 2012.

Porn has honed her sexual skills in several ways. She had never done anal prior to porn but soon broke that streak by appearing in anal scenes for Jules Jordan Video. Monroe has also trained herself how to squirt, and emphasizes it's a skill any woman can pick up with a bit of practice. "You could totally learn how to do it!" she told Bang! in 2017.

For the most part, she tries not to let the burdens of sex and dating outside work weigh her down. "Honestly, I have so much sex at work that I'm not really too worried about it once I get home. If I meet someone and it happens, then it happens," she told Steven St. Croix in a 2015 interview.

Though her on-screen work has brought her thousands of fans and dozens of award nominations, she hopes to branch out into directing. "I have a creative mind, so I'd like to be involved more other than just being told what to do. I'd like to have a little bit of a say, if I could," she said.
