Texas Patti

On how she came up with her stage name:
"In terms of brand building, we knew we needed to think of a name that was both unique and meaningful. We wanted to incorporate the USA in some way because we anticipated selling merchandise in the long run. After all, Stars and Stripes items are popular not just in the USA. We started by mixing our two names ? Bettina and Patrick ? and came up with "PATTI". We then reviewed all the US states, but nothing quite sounded right, for instance, "North Carolina Patti" ... I mean, come on... who would like that?

That's when we stumbled upon "TEXAS".

It's only five letters long, which can be advantageous from a design perspective. Texas is a term everyone in Europe is familiar with. If you say it and read it backward, it almost sounds like "SUCCESS" (okay, you need a bit of imagination for that one). But most importantly, the word "TEXAS" contains the three most important letters of our industry: SEX."

On why she moved from her native Germany to the USA:
"My aspiration has always been to be among the best in the field. I firmly believe that reaching such a level of excellence can only be achieved by working with the best in the business. Whether I now count myself among the best ? that is a judgment I leave up to the fans to decide."

On the importance of discipline:
'Discipline is paramount across all areas ? administration, fitness, financial matters, and entrepreneurial thinking. Structured and professional work habits are essential, given the nature of the work we do. The ability to deal with stigma is another critical challenge; the industry is still often misunderstood and navigating that is a daily task."

Her favorite scenes to shoot:
"I love shooting ANAL and DP most of all... I also love the G/B. But apart from the sexual aspect, I would love to take part in a feature film with a big role."

On her fans
"I would like to thank all my fans from the bottom of my heart for the fact that the life I lead is only possible through them. I am very grateful for that every day."
